The international competition for autoglass specialists took place during the Glasstec tradeshow in Düsseldorf, Germany, October 21 – 25.
The International Automotive Glass Federation started this event at the end of 2007 and it has been growing in popularity. It concentrates especially on technical standards and codes, training programs and health and safety issues. The activities focus on competitions for autoglass technicians or fitters that are performed in front of a live audience. See the February issue of Glass Canada for results.
