CRL opens new plant
Written by C.R. Laurence
June 22, 2011 - C.R. Laurence proudly announces the opening of our new headquarters for manufacturing in Los Angeles, California. This 330,000 square-foot facility is located in the wholesale district, just five minutes from CRL World Headquarters and 10 minutes from downtown Los Angeles. It’s the largest CRL facility to date, and brings our overall manufacturing and distribution capacity in the area to roughly one million square feet.

Don Friese, chairman and CEO, states “This new facility reflects upon CRL’s commitment to strengthening the manufacturing base of America, and to providing quality American-made products to the industries we serve. We’re proud to have made this commitment to our workers, our community, and to our country.”

On Saturday, May 21, CRL trucks started arriving with tools and machinery for our various fabrication departments. Most of the equipment comes from the nearby CRL manufacturing plant where we will continue to fabricate our automotive, transaction, and hospitality products.
