Dec. 14, 2010 – TRON: Legacy hits theatres this Friday on Dec. 17. The much-anticipated remake of the original 1982 Disney science fiction film stars Jeff Bridges and features plenty of CGI. However, much of the tone and atmosphere is created by the generous use of decorative and structural glass.
Many of the explosive and pyrotechnic special effects are enhanced with flying tempered glass and a reoccurring set features a 1" Tempered .030 Diffused White Laminated Glass Floor (shown above), as laminated by Metro Vancouver based Lami Glass, a division of Hartung Glass Industries, and installed by 24 Hour Glass.
