Oct. 20, 2010 – According to DORMA Glas, the new 2.0 version of the Easi-Fronts estimating tool provides fast, reliable service in preparing quotes and basic drawings for a range of the company’s products.
Easi-Fronts rapidly calculates hardware costs and immediately generates elevation, section, and glass fabrication drawings. Users employ a simple, 16-question interactive online form to enter installation-specific information, including door type and clearance, glass thickness, panel layout, closer mechanism, and other data.
The company says that with one simple part number, Easi-Fronts accounts for everything needed to build simple glass doors. Easi-Fronts can also be used to prepare orders and related materials for sidelites.
Version 2.0 of Easi-Fronts makes the ordering process more efficient. Upgrades in this version include net pricing calculations, an improved selector guide, a new price book, and a new web address.
