Sept. 30, 2010 – The Glass Trades Association of Northern Alberta (GTA) has announced that it will welcome Keith Robinson of Design Dialog as a guest speaker at its General Meeting on October 4, 2010 at the Executive Royal Inn-West in Edmonton, Alberta.
Robinson will focus on LEED and its effect on contractors. The presentation will also include an introduction to:
• Other sustainable design initiatives
• Description of the LEED process
• Constructors first contact
• How the constructor can assist
• Breif description of green wash
• Affect on bids
• Submission requirements
• Cooperation between trades
• Seeing the big picture and not getting bogged down with a bunch of stuff.
Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. An arrival time of 5:30 p.m. is suggested. Dinner is $30.00 for members.
