Aug. 4, 2010 – Glass Doctor honoured Joe and Wendy Barrieau of the Glass Doctor of Kawartha Lakes franchise with the 2009 Canadian Rookie of the Year Award during the company’s 2010 Annual Reunion Conference in San Antonio, Texas. The Rookie of the Year Award is given to Glass Doctor franchisees who demonstrate outstanding performance in sales and building their franchises during their first full year of operation.
The Barrieaus opened the first Glass Doctor franchise in Canada in January 2009 and quickly turned it into a successful business.
“Joe and Wendy Barrieau have such a great spirit in them, to rise to the challenge of being pioneers by adding a full-service glass franchise to their successful auto body business,” said Mark Dawson, president of Glass Doctor. “We are extremely proud of their achievements in such a relatively short amount of time. We have added 10 more franchise owners in Canada, and we can confidently point them to Glass Doctor of Kawartha Lakes as the example of what the Glass Doctor system should look like.”
Located at 87 East Street N in Bobcaygeon, Glass Doctor of Kawartha Lakes also serves the city of Kawartha, as well as Buckhorn, Haliburton, Minden and the surrounding area.
