Apr. 15, 2010 – The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) presented its 2009 Member of the Year Award this week to Jeff Baker, of WESTLab, during the NFRC Spring Membership Meeting in New Orleans.
Roland Temple, a longtime NFRC member who retired last year and earned the first Member of the Year Award, presented this year’s honor to Mr. Baker.
The Member of the Year Award honorus NFRC members who are advocates for the organization, regularly attend and engage in membership meetings, and exhibit respect for all members.
“We are pleased to honor Mr. Baker with this award,” said Jim Benney, NFRC’s chief executive officer. “He exemplifies NFRC’s efforts to find solutions using an inclusive, consensus-driven approach.”
NFRC also honored Board Member Mike Manteghi, of TRACO. NFRC Chair Joe Hayden, of Pella Corporation, presented the Outgoing Board Member Award to Manteghi.
“We are pleased to recognize Mr. Manteghi for his leadership and outstanding service to the NFRC as a Board Member,” Hayden said.
