Jan. 12, 2010 – Edgetech I.G. announced that Ramsey Bader has been promoted to Director, International Sales and Marketing, covering the company’s expansion efforts in various markets, including all international areas outside of the Americas, Europe and UK. Bader has been a member of the Edgetech team since 2003 and served most recently as International Market Manager.
“Ramsey has traveled extensively to represent Edgetech in markets from North America to Australia and many in between,” said Mike Hovan, President, Edgetech I.G. “He has been a tremendous asset to us over the past seven years, and has been integral in our global expansion. He not only understands international markets, but also understands what it means to provide the level of support customers associate with Edgetech.”
In his new role, Bader is responsible for growing Edgetech’s “International Other” presence globally, as well as all sales and marketing initiatives in these areas.
Bader earned his MBA in International Business from the University of Akron and is a Certified Global Business Professional. Prior to his MBA, Bader worked for Citibank’s Offshore Corporate Bank in Bahrain and Dubai. Bader is currently actively involved in local organizations, including the Ohio Department of Development, International Trade Division; and the Department of Commerce, Southern Ohio Export Council. He delivers regular presentations at conferences on international business and export development.
