July 23, 2009 – Bendheim Wall Systems introduced Ice™, the newest exclusive texture offered by Lamberts. Sparkling and frosty in appearance, Ice™ is an organic, image-obscuring texture, providing both daylighting and privacy whether installed as a single- or double-glazed wall. Ice™ can be designed to form up to 23’-tall gleaming façades and interior partitions of unlimited length.
Ice™ is the most obscuring organic channel glass texture currently available, and adds to Bendheim Wall Systems’ channel glass line now featuring six decorative textures, specialty thermal coatings, and hundreds of enameled colours. Ice™ combines outstanding aesthetics with significant sustainability benefits. It is manufactured with 40% post-consumer recycled content in Europe’s first and only clean-burning, oxygen-fired cast glass plant. A Sustainable Industries Top 10 Green Building Product of 2008, Lamberts channel glass offers two exclusive safety elements: Safety Glazing Certification Council-approved tempered glass and certified 100% heat soak testing.
