Industry appointment
June 25, 2009 – Uniban Canada Inc. has appointed Sylvain Gosselin as vice president of sales and marketing at Uniban effective July 1.

Gosselin has more than 20 years of experience in corporate store management and he was instrumental in the company’s development of a call centre in Québec and its recycling program on a national level. Previously he was the director of operations at Groupe VitroPlus inc., a division of Uniban.

The company says his appointment is a direct result of the expansion and significant increase in market share that Uniban has made recently playing a much greater role in the automotive industry.

First reported in Glass Canada magazine in February 2007, Uniban Canada is a holding company that was created to offer an alternative solution to the automotive glass market place.

In June 2007, Uniban Canada acquired the rights to Ziebart Canada and markets its business models under several brands, including UniglassPlus/Ziebart and Unipro Auto Glass and Accessories in Canada; and VitroPlus/Ziebart and Ram-Ko Auto Glass in Quebec.
