US Horizon introduces Economy Beveled Series
Aug. 24, 2010 – US Horizon (USH), a supplier to the frameless shower door hardware industry, has added the new “Economy Beveled Series” to the company’s line of frameless shower door hinges. Designed with rounded corners and beveled edges, the solid forged brass Economy Beveled Series Hinge comes in two models, the 180º Glass-to-Glass Economy Series (H-EB180GTG) and the Wall Mount with Full Back Plate Economy Series (H-EBGTW-FP).

July 21, 2010 – Quanex Building Products Corporation has announced that August (Gus) J. Coppola, 61, was promoted to Senior Vice President of Quanex Building Products, reporting to David D. Petratis, chairman and chief executive officer. Coppola was formerly the president of the company’s Truseal business. In his new role, Coppola’s key responsibility will be to serve as the champion of Quanex’s Project Nexus initiative.

This will free up capacity in HGI’s Seattle and Sacramento facilities, allowing the company to provide better service and product selection to existing customers while progressively expanding in the high performance IGU markets in Alberta and British Columbia, as well as Colorado, Hawaii and Texas.
