The sudden closing of the program comes two months before its official end date on March 31, 2012. ALI releases updated A14.7 standard for mobile ladders Jan. 27, 2012 – The American Ladder Institute, the national trade association representing the North American ladder industry, has released the updated A14.7 standard, which provides technical specifications for mobile ladder stands and mobile ladder stand platforms. Dollar drops, commodity prices retreat Jan. 23, 2012 - The Canadian dollar closed lower as data showed a sharp drop in inflation during December while prices for oil and metals backed off. The loonie was down 0.17 of a cent to 98.7 cents U.S. after inflation fell 0.6 per cent from November to an annualized rate of just 2.3 per cent.
