Bill Isaak joins Montag Windows & Doors
 Aug. 27, 2010 – Ultra-luxury residential window manufacturer Montag Windows & Doors has announced that Bill Isaak has joined Montag as Vice President of Sales. In his new role, Isaak will manage the Dealer Network Alliance (DNA) program, which will include dealer development, product education and sales training.

Aug. 26, 2010 – One call does it all for Manitobans wanting to open an auto glass claim with Manitoba Public Insurance. Effective today, Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) will introduce a new Web application that will enable glass repair facilities to register claims on behalf of customers.

 Aug. 24, 2010 – US Horizon (USH), a supplier to the frameless shower door hardware industry, has added the new “Economy Beveled Series” to the company’s line of frameless shower door hinges. Designed with rounded corners and beveled edges, the solid forged brass Economy Beveled Series Hinge comes in two models, the 180º Glass-to-Glass Economy Series (H-EB180GTG) and the Wall Mount with Full Back Plate Economy Series (H-EBGTW-FP).

Aug. 24, 2010 – As part of their ongoing commitment to supporting Canadian sport, JELD-WEN has signed on to sponsor the Jeff Stoughton curling team until 2012. The window and door company currently supports Team Jennifer Jones and was a longtime partner to Team Kerry Burtnyk until his retirement in 2010.
CRL breaks ground on new manufacturing facility
 Aug. 23, 2010 -- C.R. Laurence (CRL) broke ground recently on a new 310,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Vernon, California. Eleven acres of land on 55th St. were prepared for the facility which is estimated to be complete as of February 2011. The Mayor of Vernon, Hilario Gonzales, participated along with members of the Vernon City Council, the City Manager, and other dignitaries.
Ultrasonic coating systems from Sono-Tek
 Aug. 23, 2010 – Sono-Tek Corporation has announced it will be showcasing its precision ultrasonic atomization technology at Glasstec 2010 in Hall 12, booth B64 on September 28th – October 1st in Dusseldorf, Germany.
