Pilkington to collaborate with Dyesol
Mar. 3, 2010 – Pilkington North America has announced a collaboration with Dyesol to develop opportunities in the Building Integrated Photovoltaic’s (BIPV) marketplace utilizing Pilkington’s TEC series of Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO) coated float glass and Dyesol’s Dye Solar Cell (DSC) materials and technology.

JELD-WEN is U.S. ENERGY STAR Partner of Year
Mar. 3, 2010 – The U.S. Environmental ProtectionAgency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy has named JELD-WEN Windows and Doors a 2010 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, manufacturing energy-efficient products and educating consumers about the benefits of energy efficiency. JELD-WEN Canada received the ENERGY STAR Participant of the Year award from Natural Resources in May 2009. This is the first time a manufacturer has been recognized by ENERGY STAR in Canada and the U.S. concurrently.


GANA Virtual Tradeshow goes live
Mar. 3, 2010 – The Glass Association of North America (GANA) announced that its second annual GANA Virtual Tradeshow, sponsored by the PPG Certified Fabricators Program, is now live on its website. This online trade show coincides with the BEC Conference, GANA's annual event for glazing contractors and suppliers in Las Vegas on March 28-29.

Saint-Gobain plans limited acquisitions in 2010
