The purposes of the Canadian Glass Association are as follows:
* To encourage, promote and support the advancement of the glass industry and the efforts of all glass association members in Canada.
* To encourage discussion amongst members of the association on all matters pertaining to the industry and distribution of all information that can be useful to all associations.
* To encourage and assist the apprenticeship programs and other educational programs beneficial to the industry.
* To communicate with other glass associations and to seek new ideas and improvements this can be beneficial to the industry.
* To promote the safety of all employees in the glass industry.
